Actually, I was just about to ask for your opinion. Here's what I have in mind:

The protagonist accidentally enters a small town inhabited by cats and mice, singing crows, pink piglets, and a cooperative ant family

They're quite sociable, love playing with the protagonist, and really enjoy listening to stories

No, they love those stories very, very much...

When the fairy tale town enters deep night and everything quiets down... the little animals just can't fall asleep...
